Payload on the Intuitive Machines 1 Lunar Lander
4SPACE's first lunar payload launched the night of Feb 14, 2024 as a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket lifted off with Intuitive Machine's IM-I Lunar Lander. The moon landing initiative has been developed by the scientist and designer 4SPACE CEO Chantelle Baier.  Baier envisioned an incredibly beautiful mission.  4SPACE secured the payload on Intuitive Machine's IM-1 manifest as the only commercial payload on IM-1.  When her investor and partner in the project approached artist Jeff Koons about an idea to put art on the Moon, the stars aligned. Their collaboration resulted with Jeff Koons creating the 125 unique Moon Phases sculptures, each consisting of three components—a one inch in diameter sculpture that will be installed on the Moon in perpetuity, a larger 15.5 inch companion piece that will stay on Earth, and an NFT including a photograph of the one-inch sculptures in the clear art gallery that has now become a Historic Landmark on the Moon. designed and built the enclosed art cube which protects Jeff Koons Moon Phases sculptures from the harsh environment of the Moon.

This project was meticulously designed, built and tested to NASA'a rigorous space qualification standards, and to last in perpetuity on the Moon.
